FAQs

🌻 Do you offer any extracts made with alcohol rather than glycerin?
No, for multiple reasons. First, using 100% organic glycerin makes each herbal blend more suitable for pregnant women and/or kids. This is why we typically do a 2-infusion process with glycerin to gain maximum botanical benefits. Second, we are not allowed to sell alcohol-based infusions according to Oklahoma law.

🌻 Do you ship internationally?
No, we are only allowed to ship to the US at this time.

🌻 I am looking for a specific herbal blend. Do you offer that?
Yes, within reason. I only offer custom blends if I have the botanicals already on-hand. I do not introduce new botanicals, nor mixes, of anything that I am unfamiliar with. If I already have the botanicals, and you want something different mixed or at a different ratio, I will try to accommodate. Please contact me to discuss the specifics.

🌻 What is the best way to store the product?
For most of our products, as with any herbal product, it is best to store it in a cool, dark area. Nothing we offer requires refrigeration, although some topical solutions maintain their consistency better if kept cool.

🌻 Can you help me with dosage?
Dosing with natural botanicals is not an exact science because each person is different, and each botanical product is different. Here are the general guidelines for dosing:

  • General adult for acute illness (cold, flu, stomachaches, etc)
    • Hot Tea Infusion – 1/2 cup at at time, up to 4 cups total, until symptoms reside
    • Extract – 1-2 dropperfuls every hour until symptoms reside
  • General adult for chronic illness (arthritis, pain, insomnia, etc)
    • Hot Tea Infusion – 3-4 cups daily for 3-6 weeks
    • Extract – 2-3 dropperfuls 2-3 times daily for 3-6 weeks
  • Children, based on age:
    • 2-4 years – 1/8 of adult dose
    • 4-6 years – 1/4 of adult dose
    • 6-8 years – 1/2 of adult dose
    • 8 – 10 years – 3/4 of adult dose
    • 10 years & up – adult dose recommended, but base it on your child’s size, symptoms, etc.
  • As with anything new introduced into your health plan, please keep an eye out for contraindications, side effects, dosage, etc.
  • If you are taking any botanical herb for long-term, chronic use, it is highly recommended to take a one week (7-day) break after a month of use. It allows your body to fully absorb the nutrients and prevents ineffectiveness from your body being overwhelmed.

🌻 How fresh and naked are you herbs actually?
My property hasn’t been sprayed with any chemicals in the last 15+ years that I’ve been here. Most of my botanicals were already here and growing when I bought the place, and I do very little to maintain them. I’ve spent years learning the different plants, their benefits, and how to use them. For the most part, I just let Mother Nature do her thing, and I harvest the benefits. I have spoken with the previous property owner, and she did not use chemicals on the property or plants either. So they are all definitely naked. As I’ve been learning the medicinal herbs already growing, I have also set a timeline for the peak harvesting of each botanical. And one way or another, I harvest those that are ready every day. So absolutely YES, any botanical herbs you get from us are Naked and Fresh!
